Please Mum NO,
Say it isn't so,
Don't take me to THAT awful place,
Please let my fair locks grow.
People think I'm cute,
I hear them at the park,
They want to give me cuddles
As they see me run and lark.
What's wrong with all the fluff at home?
It shows you where I've been.
So what if it clogs up the sinks,
Or backlogs the latrine?
And what's the harm if now and then,
You find a long strand in your soup?
You should see the sorts of things,
I find daily in my poop.
So I look a little shaggy,
I've lost that savoire-faire,
But think how boring I would be,
If I went sans hair.
I just don't like THAT place,
I end up getting wet.
I suddenly don't feel too great,
You should take me to the vet.
Those scissor things are noisy,
And all the puppies yelp.
Their snacks are very average,
I think that 'Dad' guy may help?
You leave me there for hours,
Thinking you'll never pick me up.
I should go and live with folks,
Who REALLY want a pup!
Are you feeling guilty yet?
It really is unfair.
Take away my toys instead,
PLEASE, PLEASE don't cut my hair!
